The advent of electronic publishing lost steam for a while and now is back with a vengeance. There are many E-reading devices (Sony, Kindle, Nook, iPad, smart phones etc.), and there are more and more E-publishing and distribution opportunities — through Amazon, Smashbooks, the iPad, the iBookstore, to name a few. Every day is a change game. Just recently Amazon announced its Android App Store. As a headline writer framed the digitalbookworld.com article, "Now Things Are Really Starting to Get Interesting!"

According to Ken Auletta in the April 26, 2010 issue of The New Yorker: "E-books are booming. Although they account for only an estimated three to five percent of the market, their sales increased 177% in 2009, and it was projected that they would eventually account for between 25% and 50% of all books sold."

Depending on your desire for broad availability, or not, it's simple to publish an E-book yourself (through Adobe Acrobat) and to sell it on your website, and beyond.

There is no reason not to simultaneously publish an E-book along with your print book.

Internet packagers or any digital printer — can easily create an E-book as an add-on.
